Increase The Amount Of Sleep You Get.

We are all different and require different amounts of sleep. It is key to learn what is appropriate for you. Using 6-9 hours as a gauge for correct sleep time will fit just about everyone. On a weekend or day when you can sleep in, wake up without an alarm. You will probably sleep an extra hour or two at least. Waking up uninterrupted a couple mornings in a row will give you an idea of how many hours of sleep you actually need each night.

Power Naps.

These can be very beneficial and should range from 5 minutes-45 hour. The longer your power nap, the more refreshed you will feel upon waking. But, you want to keep your nap below 45 minutes as not to go into deep sleep. Awakening in the middle of deep sleep can make you feel more tired than before you took your nap. Remember to use your alarm.

Meditation.

Meditation slows your brain waves down to a point similar to sleep. This does a lot for reducing stress as it gives your mind a break from the concerns and pressures of the day. It is like a bowel movement for your mind. Just 5 minutes of clearing your mind and focusing only on making your inhale and exhale match perfectly, can make you feel like a brand new person with a fresh perspective.

Being stressed out and tired can be a real pain and keep you from performing at your best. Applying these simple techniques to your life will Reduce Stress and make you more productive. You will be amazed at how much better you feel.
